Mark Dodson has been a private mortgage banker since the early 1990's and started his own private mortgage banking firm, The Private Capital Group in 1998. He has been featured on CNBC's Mad Money and has been written about in numerous articles over the years in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, Pinnacle Publications, Business to Business, and various other magazines, newspapers, and websites. He was also honored by Atlanta Business Magazine as one of the Top 25 Atlantan's to Watch in 2008.
Over the years, Mark has always been one of the top mortgage bankers in Atlanta with an outstanding reputation with his clients and colleagues alike. His longstanding connections within the industry have helped him be able to deliver for his clients what other banking institutions cannot- elite customer service and personalized mortgage products tailored to each client’s specific needs.
Mark is an elder at Peachtree Presbyterian. He is also very involved with animal rescues and has had several Rottweilers of his own over the years. Mark has served on the Advisory Board of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine and was on the National Steering Committee of the “It Begins at Auburn”, national fundraising campaign. He is a member of the All-American Society and the George Petrie Society as well.

Senior Loan Officer
Melissa Flom: Melissa began her career as a mortgage loan processor for Johnstown American Mortgage company in 1989. She quickly advanced into mortgage origination and leads the industry with a wide range of product knowledge. Through her career as a mortgage originator, she has worked as a broker, lender, and banker. This exposure leads to her expertise in understanding the products that fit each borrower’s needs. She joins our staff as a senior mortgage loan originator.
She is a native of Atlanta and currently resides with her husband in Sandy Springs, Georgia. She is a member of the Chastain Park Civic Association and an active part of her community in the Chastain neighborhood. The years she spent volunteering and supporting her children’s sports programs at Sandy Springs Youth Organization, Northside Youth Organization and Riverwood High School drew her even closer to her community. Her active role as President of the Ridgeview Charter School Foundation from 2007-2009 helped to raise needed funds to support outside activities for students.
